Privacy Policy
Last updated October 31, 2026.
This policy covers the Max Hale Fitness website, the Calorie Crush meal tracker (the iPhone app and maxhalefit.com/intake), and the Fuel meal timer inside the iPhone app.
Calorie Crush
Calorie Crush keeps your diary on your phone: the foods you log, meals, water, weight, daily targets, and the profile details you enter (sex, age, height, weight, activity, and goal). There is no account and no login.
What is sent to us. Unless you turn on “Don’t share my data” in Settings, the app sends a copy of your diary to maxhalefit.com so Max Hale can see it. That copy contains the last 45 days of meals, water, and weight, your meal plan, your daily targets, the profile details above, an optional name, and a random diary id created on your phone. If you do not enter a name, your diary appears as “Guest” with a number. We do not collect your email, phone number, contacts, or precise location. Photos you add to a food stay on your phone.
Not sharing. With “Don’t share my data” on, the app stops sending your diary and your food choices. Anything already shared stays on our server until you ask us to delete it by emailing support@maxhalefit.com with the name you used.
Foods. When you search for a food, the words you type are sent to maxhalefit.com, which looks them up in public food databases (USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) and, for Trilivy products, on trilivyhealth.com. Foods you choose or save, and the searches that found them, may be added to a shared food list so other people can find them faster. That list holds food names, brands, and nutrition numbers, not your diary or your name.
Camera and photos. The camera scans a barcode on your phone. If you read a nutrition label, the photo is sent to maxhalefit.com to read the text and is not kept. Photos you attach to a food are kept only on your phone.
We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites.
Fuel meal timer
Fuel stores your meal count, last meal time, and settings on your iPhone. That information stays on the device. We do not create an account for you and we do not sell your data.
If you allow notifications, iOS may show meal reminders. You can turn those off in the app or in iOS Settings.
The app sends anonymous usage events to this website so we can see how many people open Fuel and log meals. Those events include an anonymous install id, the event type, and a rough location from the connection IP. They do not include your name, email, or meal schedule details.
